P15 Malbec, Patagonia
Picada 15' is the name of the old highway that runs alongside the vineyards of San Patricio del Chañar, Neuquén province, where this wine is made from the fruit of relatively young vines. At 39º latitude, Neuquén is Argentina's southernmost wine region. A fresh and youthful Malbec, with a focus on ripe cherry and plum flavours. The nose is lifted and expressive, with heady violet and subtle vanilla. Middleweight tannins give harmony and structure. Enjoy in its youth, paired with rich stews or pasta sauces.
