Fleurie is a pretty village in the northern Beaujolais region, surrounded by steep slopes, on one of which is the Chapel of the Virgin. Fleurie is the “Queen of Beaujolais”. A wonderful aroma of fresh cherries and raspberries with weight and concentration – a serious Fleurie as an extremely fruity wine, quite delicate, with a silky texture which subtly overlies its full round structure.
