Made from a blend of two Marlborough Valleys – the Wairau where southern clays have heavier soils providing structure and body, blended with the Awatere which produces pungent notes of nettle, gooseberry, citrus and pea pod. This is an intense and powerful wine, true to Marlborough flavours – mixing ripe tropical fruits, citrus and fresh herbs, along with tomato leaf and pea pod. A dry, full bodied wine with a nice crisp finish, providing freshness and length.
