To create its Brut Reserve, Champagne Castelnau chose a refined assemblage of ripe Pinots (20% Pinot Noir, 40% Pinot Meunier) and blended them with characterful Chardonnay (40%) in a perfect, delectable alchemy. The reserve wine used in the blend (16%) gives the cuvee a fine maturity and complexity, refined by at least 6 years ageing in the cellar: an exceptional feature.
